I think a lot of is that we give too many free open looks and those open looks can swing momentum and get a team hot from deep. All it takes is 3 threes to completely swing a game
In fairness, It's just easier to create an open 3 than barreling your way into a crowded paint. Just more space to operate to create space and easier to pass in and out.
We do collapse in the paint a little too hard with or without a lead and overhelp coming from the corner 3 spot. Which is just bad. This is just fundamentals that you never leave corner 3s on an empty island unless it's a big.
