In fairness…the injuries on the line early kept us changing up lineups. Penning seems to struggle with pass protection so we pull him.

Defenses are now daring us to beat them with the pass.

This coaching staff seems like they are determined to prove they made the right move with DC at the helm. They want so bad to show he is the prolific passer they sold us on needing.

I've said this before. Penning was never a starter day one from a rookie. The plan was to let him learn yr 1 and maybe he'd be able to start 3/4 into the season, but he got hurt and his rookie yr was a wash. Come yr 2 and he got very little offseason work due to recovering from injury. DA in all his wisdom did not get a starting caliber LT so that we could work TP into the starting lineup he just threw they redshirt rookie into the starting lineup before he was ready and he struggled. Then just when he was starting to improve each week despite having Marrone a Oline coach our rocket scientist HC pulls him, kills his confidence and stunts his development
