Derek Carr - Why People Dislike Him (IMO)

You still can't ignore the yrs he had even with an average HC and a bit above average OC in Musgrave in 16 . Plus in 19 he was top 8 . No reason not to think he could return to that level with a good HC/OC. Which we are nowhere close to having now
That is the best case scenario though. We don't have a good HC/OC so that part doesn't matter. His prior HCs and OCs don't matter either. If everything has to be perfect for him to succeed then we aren't the team for him. I'm not sure what team is. That is why it isn't good practice to sign QBs that need to be elevated by others. We need to start drafting QBs early and often until we find one that elevates everyone else.
