Dennis Allen on Graham being inactive earlier in the season: “Let’s start focusing on what we need to do moving forward"

Precisely why you have to return to Allen. You either get an immediate payout in year 3 or you cut ties. Or you cut ties now but you know that the next HC basically has to be given 2-3 years just to dig out of the hole and come even, and perhaps another year or 2 to start winning consistently.

As far as DA accepting something, he'd be wise to accept anything that prolongs his tenure as a HC. Can't let ego get in the way of what's best.

And what's best is him being paired with someone that allows him to just focus on the defensive side of the ball. Let's not forget the 1st two weeks of the season the defense was playing lights out, somewhere during that period DA likely had to start popping up in the offensive meetings etc. That took away from his time and attention in the defensive room and they faltered because of it. I also don't think DA isn't a detail oriented coach. Hell, how many coverage gaps have you seen in his tenure here? Sure it happens but it definitely isn't what it was prior to his arrival.

I don't think Loomis is the root of the problem because I don't think the current circumstance is a problem more than it's another p word ie process, and he understands that.
The only person I think might be desperate enough to take the job would be Gruden and he would be an upgrade over DA. He had LV playing well and DC played solidly under him at QB.

If he doesn't perform, Loomis can be rectifying issues on the macro level and remove Gruden to set the next coach up for success.

Then again, something leads me to believe Gruden would be able to get more out of this group than DA ever could...E.V.E.R.

Edit: I didn't see your other post recommending the same thing. :ROFLMAO:
