NFL will look at the fumble-out-of-end-zone rule

I like the rule, adds drama and the ability for an unexpected swing of momentum. Football hasn’t seemed to suffer for all these decades with the rule in place.
In a way, I would disagree. So if you fumble the ball and it goes into the endzone, OOB, then the opposing team gets the ball. However, if a player stretches his arm out, only taps the pylon, then loses the ball, he’s awarded a TD. To me that doesn’t make sense.
