Born on the Fourth of July has entered the chat…. Seriously, he gives a masterclass in that movie.. like Magnolia though, i think Born on the Fourth is a good movie, but a bit too overly long in places to reach greatness.. Magnolia’s problem (i feel) is that the ending - spoiler alert- with the frogs raining down from the sky really took away from the movie.. i realize it’s supposedly an actual phenomena, i just didnt care for it and thought it took away from the overall tone of the film .
