This kind of stuff happens at almost every single game in Argentina. Not just Boca/River.That particular picture, it is actually people lighting flags on fire. The most bitter rivalry in Argentinian soccer is Boca Juniors vs River Plate, a rivalry that transcends Argentinian borders. I understand they have cracked down on it, but it used to be that fans would throw road flares at each other.
Still, people toss smoke bombs into the field with the colors of Boca and River. Talk about blocking your view of the game, and lax security.
