Conspiracy Time! Daniels Is At The Pelicans Game

It would be so nice and even more importantly, a tremendous, unexpected good surprise series of events if we were able to find or "maneuver" a pre-draft/draft-day scenarios where we picked Daniels, but even at our current win-loss position and becomes even more prescient and impossible if we win 1-2 more games and finish 8-9/9-8, Daniels isn't coming here and likely not even Atlanta, either.

It's possible that the next Panthers HC will discard and throw away Bryce Young disaster as the bust he really is (and honestly, besides David Tepper, very few inside the Panthers org. wanted to draft him, Reich wanted C.J. Stroud, and thankfully, Tepper's incompetence prevented Carolina from having a surprise, rebound comeback season ala Houston has in 2023), but there's still the possibility they might hold on to him and try and develop him with a new OC, QB coach, offensive system, so maybe there's a chance Carolina doesn't pick him but maybe they or Arizona goes with Caleb Williams. Jayden is going to go in the top 5 and while I'm not an LSU fan, I do recognized and fully understand just how deep, genuine your respect, love and admiration for JD really is but in terms of his LSU Tigers collegiate career, I think that ended about 3 weeks ago vs. IIRC, Arkansas and he won't be playing in your upcoming bowl game for obvious, business-related and career-centric decisions.

Sorry, Cactus Jack, as much as it'd be nice to have a Heisman Trophy-winning LSU Tiger on our roster, just like Joe Burrow before him, by the time our turn arrives to select our #1 draft choice next April, Daniels will be long gone by that point.
Panthers don’t have a first round pick next year. We all should laugh at them for trading it away plus a lot more to pick Young.
