Marcus Davenport - Vikings $13 Million Star Lacks Desire

Not sure I thought Trey would be a perennial pro-bowler (which he is) but I certainly knew he was better than Davenport. Davenport is a one trick pony with a good bull rush. Trey is a dynamic rusher, that can bend, and has multiple pass rush tools. This was pretty obvious to me early on in both careers. I don't agree the Saints couldn't afford him. They just chose not to prioritize him given the DE's on the roster and needs elsewhere (like you say, tagging Marcus Williams, who we promptly lost). I'm just not going to let the Saints off the hook on this one.
