I honestly believed Carr would be worse than he has been this season. The press hyped Carr but he was a cast off for a reason. DA he should’ve never been put in this position. It all goes back to Loomis.
You can moan about Loomis all you want and to an extent I get it. At the end of a day he’s a “coach’s GM”, and Tom and now Gayle are “coach’s owners”. They let the coaching staff make the decisions. They brought in Ireland to help evaluation after Payton had some suspect drafts himself, that’s about the extent of the meddling.
All Loomis needs to prove now is that he’s not too loyal to his friends. That remains to be seen.
