Dennis Allen Post Game Press Conference

I've worked really hard to never use filler words or sounds in conversation and some people have told me it's a little disconcerting to talk to me because of it. At most, you might hear a pause while my mouth tries to figure out what the hell I just thought, but it weirds people out.

Yep, I do the same in most formal settings. Talking to a friend, I don't care, but if I am in front of a staff or at some sort of business event, I speak directly, eliminate the "uhs," etc.

I feel that same thing from you; it's almost like "intimidating" to some folks. But I guess in some form or fashion at least a slight form of intimidation is a part of being a leader and, to the point of this thread, what we need to see from a NFL head coach.
