It was difficult to see such a man in such a state. The past few years have been rough on Dave. They've been rough on us all but especially him. Listening to Dave's monologue the other night it seemed as if he had given up. But the more I think about it, the more it seems like he just had to get that off his chest. He said that we endure. He didn't say, "I give up" or "I'm done with the Saints".
