He’s still playing like one of the best when the pocket breaks down (6th in ANY/A), but Payton wants a QB who can run his offense (Wilson ranks 22nd in ANY/A when not pressured).
Ryan Clark sounds like he has an axe to grind. Stop acting like we all didn't hear about what was going on with Russ in the Broncos organization before Sean Payton got there. Sean Payton needed to set the tone to change a terrible culture that was taken advantage of by a washed up, overpaid, prima donna of a QB.
I like Russ, but his time has passed. However, it’s not his fault that he generated a ton of expectations. So for people to be disappointed that’s on them for not having more realistic expectations.
