Maybe we should hire Univ of Washington’s Offensive Coordinator

I will be curious to see how good Penix is throwing into tighter windows. He's a good QB, but the NFL is different. Good luck to the young man. All the new QBs will struggle to a point. If Lenix goes to a team with not a great line, how I'll he do? A lot of factors

Obviously the NFL is a step up, but from what I have seen from Penix, he has the accuracy to succeed in the NFL. And, obviously I'm no scout and I'm far from an expert so take this for what it's worth, but I've seen him a few times this season and watched him again last night and it looked to me like he was putting the ball into very small windows with great accuracy. Sure there were some short throws with wide open receivers but his deep ball was right where it need to be in small windows and he made a few throws over the middle including a touch down where he threaded the needle and put it into a very small window. And he has done that for the last two season, not just last night. I've always particularly found his accuracy on deep throws to be impressive.

The prior injury history is a concern, but I think he still has enough mobility to move around in the pocket to create throws on broken plays and he does a nice job throwing on the run. He can also get some yards if it's open, but he's obviously not a true running threat like Daniels.
