I honestly think it has more to do with DA than Pete....
I think these are the game plans DA wants.... and that's why things rarely work out of the gate.
He wants a run first - ball control - low turnover - play not to lose - simplified offense.... so he can lean on his defense for wins.
The issue is, our Oline is not consistent enough for that... Our personnel on offense doesn't mesh well with that style.... and Pete can never get a rhythm.
It seems like we can never get an offensive game plan to work from snap #1, and by the time (and if) we adjust we are already playing from behind.
Unless DA gives up all of the offensive game planning, philosophy, and design duties to someone else.... I don't think replacing Pete with anyone will make much difference.
