He had to make multiple apologies because the offended parties didn't take his apology seriously.
"Don't start none, won't be none" seems like healthy advice before making jokes at the expense of a guy who you have mocked for being unstable. Would you prefer the saying "don't mess with the bull if you don't want the horns"? If Jimmy is mocking a guy for questionable judgment, why would he be surprised when the guy with questionable judgment fires a shot across the bow?
The interesting thing in all of this is that Rodgers mentioned the Epstein list back in February of 2023. He didn't mention Kimmel in his comments, he mentioned that it wasn't a coincidence that UFO stories were populating just when news of the Epstein list was bubbling up. Kimmel took it upon himself to call out Rodgers about having a concussion.
This is a leap, but perhaps that is why Aaron name dropped Kimmel. Kimmel fired a shot at Rodgers, and he got one back?
Anyway, enough ink has been spilled about two guys with checkered pasts.
The problem I have with all of this is that Kimmel made jokes about Rodgers based on things Rodgers had said or done. Things everyone already knew that he had said or done. Jokes based on factual events. Rodgers joked about something that had absolutely nothing to do with anything factual. Has Kimmel been in the news connected to Epstein? Has there been any reports or accusations about Kimmel being connected to any of this? Rodgers just pulled a current headline out of the air and implied Kimmel had connections to it for the sole purpose of getting under Kimmel’s skin.
