At best I think you might be able to argue wilful ignorance, but I can't imagine anyone actually going to that island and not be able to figure out that something was not right about it. If they decided not to say anything then that's on their conscience and now maybe they will actually have to live with the consequences of that decision.

I'm hoping that at some point Maxwell decides to come clean about who was actually involved, but I would imagine she fears the same fate as Epstien.

thats one of the issues. you are assuming eveyone on the log went to the island, which in fact is not true. Many many people already thinnk the same thing. and it just isn't true... and we all know those who think that will take zero effort into actually taking time to know the difference.
