When reporters put out articles do they name their sources? It would make a lot of sense for me to put out names of guys and girls who say things in confidence and still work in some capacity for or around New Orleans Saints football. Yeah, that wouldn’t be dumb in the least bit.

Lol, it's not about approval. I don't know you, personally, so I have no idea whether your claim is credible or not. There's already enough nonsense posted on these boards that I'm not going to buy an unsubstantiated claim without verifiable sources.

And sure, I take most news reports with a huge grain of salt when they cite unnamed sources. There are good reasons for some of that, i.e. national security, trade secrets and what not. But a GM pushing out a coach? I mean, I suppose it's the source's prerogative to remain anonymous, but that doesn't strike me as something that needs to be hush hush a few years after the fact.

I don't have an issue with you at all, I'll just file it away as a rumor until verifiable sources confirm it.

It really shouldn't take that long to trickle out. It's been 2 years and I haven't heard anything like that outside of SR.com
