Mike McCarthy will be back in 2024
McCarthy would have been a top 3 candidate for the open Head Coaching jobs in the 2024 cycle had he been fired. He doesn't get the respect he deserves but he also warrants some of the criticism he gets, such as clock management. The man has been coaching in the NFL for 30 years. His first HC job was in 2006 when the Packers choose him over Sean Payton. People readily accept the notion the SP is a HOF coach, but that moniker isn't used on MM as fast. Compared records:

The comparisons are almost identical. McCarthy has coached one more season than Payton due to the bounty gate bs suspension in 2012. Payton has a narrow edge in winning percentage. McCarthy has the edge in Division Championships, Overall Wins, Playoff Appearances, Playoff Wins, and 10 Wins Seasons.
There should be a slight overall edge in favor of McCarthy but that's probably not what the results would suggest were a national poll to ask who has had the best coaching career so far.
