Aren't the Falcons the franchise where coaches go to die on the vine?
BB could be the savior that breaks that mold and delivers there but it will be Not For Long. Currently at 72 years old BB only has a few years left in the tank at best and once he breaks the all-time coaching wins record, he will be ready to retire. That would be in the next 2 years most likely. SB win or not.
Don Shula has the most career wins as an NFL Head Coach at 347. Bill Belichick currently has 333. He only needs 15 wins to surpass Shula.
A competent QB such as Cousins along with a decent OC would instantly make Atlanta the team to beat in the division. They have plenty of talent on that team.
If BB is the Atlanta hire it would certainly bring quite a bit of excitement into the NFCS in 2024 and would most likely get the Clowns more PT games than they deserve. The Saints could actually benefit from that as well since they are their main division rival. Let the games begin!
