Falcons Have Second Interview With Bill Belichick (Now Likely To Be Falcons HC)

That's true, but once we get past the rivalry part, the truth is they have been to two Super Bowls. I don't fear Bill but if he gets a QB with McDaniels again, they could be dangerous. Something that people rarely talk about is that NE developed multiple decent QBs during the Brady years. Jimmy G and Brissett come to mind, but those guys were never going to be able to replace Brady in his prime. All I am saying is that Bill is a proven coach, he's just not exceptional without the right QB.
Garopollo was a good QB who had several, productive seasons in San Francisco. Brissett showed some flashes here and there as a backup and then as a starter in Indy in 2019 after Andrew Luck's sudden, shocking retirement, but wasnt what I label a solid, Pro-Bowl QB. At best, Brissett was serviceable but nothing more.
