Falcons Have Second Interview With Bill Belichick (Now Likely To Be Falcons HC)

Don't be surprised if Josh McDaniels ends up on this staff again. He's a failed head coach but he's a decent coordinator and Bill trusted him to run his offense. His leaving is a big turn of events leading to the Patriot demise. Mac Jones was a pro bowl QB under McDianiles his first year.
That's true, but once we get past the rivalry part, the truth is they have been to two Super Bowls. I don't fear Bill but if he gets a QB with McDaniels again, they could be dangerous. Something that people rarely talk about is that NE developed multiple decent QBs during the Brady years. Jimmy G and Brissett come to mind, but those guys were never going to be able to replace Brady in his prime. All I am saying is that Bill is a proven coach, he's just not exceptional without the right QB.
Yall hit the nail on the head. Patriots were a playoff team with rookie Mac Jones and I think Josh McDaniels would be a good OC but they will need to get the right person and practice patience. It is actually one of the more complex offenses to learn in the league. If Belichick gets the job and they bring in JMD to run the offense, they will probably end up bringing in a vet to start and probably looking to draft a QB like Penix to develop.
