I mean, Mike Nolan was the Saints linebackers coach and has a history of coaching linebackers that goes all the way back to 1983, but if some branches of a tree mean something more to you than that, then have at it. I don't personally care about the coaching tree as much as who coaches have worked directly with and been influenced by. I doubt Hodges spent a lot of time with Payton strategizing linebacker play during their time on the same staff.
