Meet the OC candidates
I really would like to see what Waldron would do out of his QB in the pistol-1RB behind QB-2TE's to the same side of the QB-2WR formation that he runs. With the players the Saints had this past season.
I think he could have a lot of productive fun this past season with Carr, Kamara, Hill, Johnson, Olave, and Shaheed out of that formation. With Kamara's receiving skills and Hill's versatility, Waldron would have the unique advantage of having potentially 2 QB's, 2RB's, 1RB 1FB, 2 TE's or up to 5 Receivers on any play with those 6 players. He could line up any of the 5 anywhere in the formation except QB and he can line up Hill at QB.
He might even be able to create creases for Carr to occasionaly keep the ball for a 3 to 4 yard run without taking a hit.
Throw in motion and I think he could run an entire drive, maybe even an entire game, with that base player grouping and base formation without having to run the same play twice. That would make it hard for the defense to predict what play is coming. It also would make it a lot easier for the offense to go up tempo and hurry up.
