Antonio Pierce is now officially the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders!

I don't disagree. I think they were sold on his leadership, not his X's and O's. He is going to hire out the X's and O's part most likely. I've been thinking about that strategy a bit more with us having good X/O coaches and no leaders of men. I'm not sure which is superior, though I'd bet it's harder to retain and good X/O coach than the Rah Rah leader coach long term.
This a win for AP no matter how it works out. If he ultimately fails he has a perfectly legitimate excuse since he's only been an NFL asst. coach for two years. If nothing else he makes a lot of money and a ton of knowledge and experience that will serve him well in his future career.

Good for him, I wish him luck. (He's gonna need it.)
