I guess it just hits differently depending on tone. Rather than responding with facts or rebuttals, the general tone you respond with is typically "I'm smart, you're not and you all have no clue," with not a lot of substance.

@Rouxble for instance...he and I disagree often, but he actually brings legitimate facts to the table and virtually never speaks down to anyone here as if he is a know-it-all, even when he is in position to.

It's like he's more interesting in teaching rather than proving he is superior in knowledge and looking down upon and chastising others.

I respond that way because a lot of the original posts are made as facts not opinions. They say " he's a bust " or "he'll never be anything more than this " or just plain out wrong facts that they are saying are truths. And almost EVERY post I make in response to one of those is filled with facts and rebuttals. Like the one guy that wants an OC as HC that has never called a play before. I point out these things . Go back and see for yourself.
Some people just don't want to be disagreed with or called out
Rouxable is one of my favorite posters, I agree with him a lot , I also have had some pretty good disagreements with him
Another is Jahsoul, I have gone round for round with him more than any other poster, but I have mucho respect for him and his knowledge. You should see the digs and banter that goes on between us
