People are clowning on your post but you are not wrong. We live in an age that is driven by algorithms that feed on attention. It doesn’t matter if it is positive attention or negative attention. It is better for the NFL if people are talking about the no call on Monday than a great game that was played in college on Saturday. It is a great strategy for short term success.

Problem is when you see some of the most loyal fans becoming disenfranchised when it impacts them directly it becomes a long term time bomb. That play helped the NFL but it hurt the Saints.
