Comic Con Talk (Renamed since LA Comic Con can't get it together)

That's what I don't get. It seems like they have been doing okay and steadily growing. I know this show won't ever be as big as stuff like FanExpo, but it should be able to at least be a decent mid-tier show. Right now, it's not even at that level. Geek'd Con in Shreveport has them beat by light-years.

Yeah, for what were cons that started about the same time and were at one point competing for the SBC market, Geek'd Con has left then in the dust in terms of guests presentation, organization, etc. It's not even close.
I mentioned this in my latest podcast episode. Fan Expo gives Humble a platform where they can promote the show. They know they're no competition to them. There's no reason they shouldn't be able to take advantage of it. New Orleans Comic Con in Kenner be going all out passing out cards and free admission coupons. Not Humble. I really think in the end, it's a Louisiana thing. If you look at their other shows, they have great line-ups compared to LACC. There's really no rhyme or reason why Lafayette gets the shaft it does every year.
