I forgot the exact time specifics but I think he started kneeling on first down and I had a timeout left. I think he just did the math wrong or maybe didn’t do any math at all and didn’t realize he would run out of downs.
We almost never kneeled when playing each other but I think he figured he better do so to secure the win.
