The thing that jumps out at me about a lot of the guys they have interviewed is that they're familiar with modern offenses. Using motion to create impossible situations for defenders and getting the ball to playmakers in space. If they interview all these guys and then go with Curry then I don't know. Will Curry stick to the timing/precision SP style of offense or will he incorporate some modern concepts? If Curry is the guy that's fine just as long as he has some imagination.
I've been getting my hopes up thinking about AK, Shaheed, Taysom, and Olave playing in a modern offense. They have been lethal despite not having much space on the field. Just imagine what Shaheed could do motioning out and already being near top speed at the snap. Good luck covering that dude. If the defense has to think a little bit about what is coming that will be huge. Especially against pass rushers. All they've had to do is pin their ears back and get after it. Didn't have to worry about the run, misdirection, screens, etc. Not a lot of trickery or deception. If the new OC can just get the front 7 to hesitate for an instant because they don't know what's coming then that will help the O line and QB in a big way.
