Unless they’re using this to collect information on Daniel. But I doubt a coach would say something bad about one of their guys heading into the draft.
Falcons could just give Hankton a phone call and ask for info on Daniels or any LSU prospects. Maybe a paid consultation for a report on them.
Seems like they’re legitimately inquiring on how Hankton’s offense would look as a pro OC since Daniels, Nabers and Thomas became top 5-20 NFL prospects while Hankton was their passing game coordinator and WRs coach at LSU.
Hankton knows their strengths best and could run his offense through them if he’s hired and the team drafts one of them. Or to bring the offense, that made all 3 players successful, to their team and mold their existing young QB and WRs into a Daniels, Nabers or Thomas.
I wish we brought in Hankton to interview for WR coach or OC. This is Morris’ first official OC candidate so he may end up hiring him
