Underhill said today he believes there are college candidates but they’re tough to figure out because the Saints don’t announce these interviews like other teams do.
Makes me wonder if we already interviewed Hankton or another college coach and just haven’t disclosed it yet. Ronald Curry’s a vet Saints coach but his OC interview wasn’t reported until a week later.
Hard to imagine the Saints didn’t inquire into a N.O. native top coach at LSU right in their backyard. Morris is already requesting an interview with him a day after Morris’ HC hire so who knows.
I’d like to see Brian Hartline as our WR coach too. He’s due for an NFL job after a lot of success coaching Olave, Wilson, JSN and Harrison Jr at OSU.
