The Science of Fasting

I got some not so good news back in December. Turns out my liver is forked. I did some research and keto with IF and even some regular fasting (multiple days) can help fix/heal your liver so I striated doing that. I've lost about 20lbs since I started and that was with taking a 3 week trip to the Philippines. I do a 16/8 IF pretty much everyday and cut sugar and most carbs out of my diet. Now that I am back home, I am going to go strict keto and work in a 2-3 day fast once a month. I haven't decided what my goal weight is, but probably another 30lbs at least, but maybe 45lbs so I land at 205lbs which I think was my best weight in my 20s. More important than my weight is fixing my liver and getting healthy.

In reference to the article above, I do find that I am keto and IF, my mind is clear.
