Mock Draft [Simulators] Compilation Thread - 2024 NFL Draft
Seems like when i did these mocks that the pass rushers were not on the board for long. I’m fine with taking a pass rusher in the first. If we’re going to trade Lattimore, we have to get to the quarterback to help out the secondary. We have solid starters on the line right now, but we could really use an athlete the caliber of Verse to round it out.No trades and let the draft fall into place. Drafted with the following assumptions.
1. Switching to a Shanahan system let by KK.
2. MT is gone and need a physical X WR.
3. Addressed pass rush.
4. Whether or not AK is here in 2024, we need RBs for 2024+ with KM, added a physical homerun threat. Team needs speed at RB.
5. Fix the O-line. The team in the final 4 and SB had great O-line play. Most issues in the last couple years can be contributed to O-line play as the underlying issue affecting multiple areas of the game.
6. DA is a DB guy, added a S and CB that are playmakers, guys he can work with (soften the blow if Latt is traded).
7. We need a complete/everydown playmaking TE in a Shanahan offense.
