Amelia Earhart’s plane found?



this kind of reading into images etc ^ is too inconclusive... also, isn't there a propensity for human brains to try to assign images to things that really isn't there?

I totally agree with you. There is absolutely nothing conclusive about the sonar image to make a person definitely conclude that it is Earhart's Electra. But just because Pareidolia exists isn't proof that the image cannot possibly be of the missing aircraft. In fact some folks seem to feel that there is just enough of a possibility that they are willing to spend a very large sum of money to explore the area where this image was taken.

As I mentioned I think it is a very long shot that the image has anything at all to do with Earhart. But in the astronomical chance that it could be the clue to solve the mystery, I'm glad that someone has the will and financing to check it out.
