I think her contract had already expired, so there isn’t anything to really rehire. Plus she had already been given a second chance after Favreau went to bat for her. I think there was even a second occasion where some others on the show went to bat for her again. Sun did a rundown in this thread at some point.
I don’t really recall Disney making any comments about her after either tbh
