Those stats are for the end of the season right? So we just forget about the rest of the season just because?? Let's not pretend he was any good for most of the first 12 weeks.
He was way better late in the season of course which makes his stats look better than he really played for much of the season. Same point made above. Stats are meaningless without context.
Don't forget there was a game where he threw for what.....35 yards in the first 3 quarters? He was a big problem for much of the season.
O Line was pretty bad and play calling/scheme was atrocious. Same issues we had with Winston and Dalton at QB and really similar results.
Nowhere to go but up, IMO. He is a better QB than those first 12 weeks showed and I think he can be more consistent with a decent scheme and situational play calling. IMO no QB would really excel in the garbage offensive scheme we had the last 2 years. I am not excited at all by Carr but he is here for a few years and I am curious to see the new offense next year.
