I think the years where Bridgewater and Taysom had to start some games was much more difficult to judge because the offense was still built around Drew and they just came in because of injury. The entire offense had already been installed for Drew and he was coming back so they couldn't have massive changes. When Drew retired, I think Sean was in the process of making Jameis the best version of Jameis he could be. He was calling plays that limited some of his biggest flaws and crawled up his behind when he reverted to his old ways. I've never been a fan of Jameis, but thought Sean was putting him in the best position. The next year, Jameis stood no chance because his personality dwarfed the coaches and they couldn't control him the same way Sean could. Lots of hindsight here, but I'm going to miss that era.
