This is like comparing Colt Brennan to Peyton Manning because he far and away had better stats than him in college. It doesn't always translate to the pro's.
I would argue that JJ had ridiculous talent around him (WR / RB / OLine / DEF) which inflated his stats.
Colt Brennan - 14,193 yards - 131 TD / 42 INT
Peyton Manning - 11,201 yards - 89 TD / 33 INT
We have much bigger issues than QB; unless one of the top guys slides to the second round we need to look elsewhere:
Offensive Line / Defensive Line / Safety / Tight End / Running back -- in that order
