Rodgers-Cromartie...4.28 40 yard dash' (merged)

I think we all agree that the highest he can go is to NE at 7. Sooo, with that said, here's my analysis: The Pats won't take him because he's starting to get too much hype now and they want to plug in someone from round 5 to become their next star CB. The Ravens won't take him because there are 2 or 3 OTs that would be good picks in that spot (Clady, Williams, Baker). The Bengals are interesting. They need a defensive player as bad as we do. Therefore, they present some trouble. DRC could get picked here but I think they need more help on the D-line (Ellis or Dorsey might be available here; or Long, Gholston, Harvey, Groves).

Therefore, with my stupid logic, he should be available if we choose to take him (which I think we should if Dorsey doesn't somehow fall to us).

I think NE has much greater need at LB than DB.
Baltimore is trickier than Cincinnati in that I don't think Cincy would go for a CB in the first round for the third year in row. (2006- Johnathan Joseph, 2007- Leon Hall, plus Deltha O'neal- who I believe makes a pretty penny.) Plus, aren't they trying to get rid of Justin Smith? That'd lead me to believe they are looking at the dline. Which is another reason I don't think Ellis/Dorsey will slip to #10.

I could see Baltimore going defense.
