Derek Carr the target of parade float “joke”

Ive been thinking about fans opinions and if they should chill or are just a bunch of spoiled kids. I rode the spoiled take up until now. I now think its important that the fans continue to voice their opinions, ie boo, etc etc. Why the change of heart? Because the minute we start accepting failure is the minute we become the "Aints" Playing devils advocate with myself: Yes, but does the booing actually help or do they even notice or care? Answer: They most certainly do notice, DA if i recall, literally defended DC in a presser. (remember he said, to the media, that DC had a great game now wheres is his flowers?) Does it help, the booing and constant negative takes? Yes, because they will continue to strive to overcome the negativity, as long as its based off of truth and not hatred. (its like using fear as a motivator) Can booing ever be wrong? Yes. If the booing isnt called for and it becomes a tool of hate, then the negativity gets absorbed into the culture (like the bag heads over time) then it'll lose its effectiveness. The moral: Be fair and be loud.

If people want to boo, they can boo. I think there are some circumstances where it is justified. However, I don't think it makes a difference because the team, players, and front office know when there are issues and they all want to win. They might disagree on how to solve those issues, and fans are often wrong about that, but they are aware of them and will try to solve them. It just might not be in the way the fans want, but to quote Jim Mora, "you think you know, but you don't know." Then again, every front office is also often wrong about how to fix a problem.

The vast majority of players are in this to win, and even those who care more about the money still want to win. I'm not sure where this narrative came from that the Saints, Loomis and Mrs. Benson in particular, don't care about winning, but I think it's really strange. Loomis has been in the league a long time and you don't stay in the NFL if you don't care about winning. And, Mrs. Benson has been willing to pay whatever is asked and do whatever is asked (went to personally see Deshaun Watson to recruit him). So I don't think it matter if we boo or not because they are going to try to win regardless.

And, from a more cynical point of view, if they really only care about money going to games and booing doesn't hurt them. If you think they really care about money and not winning then don't buy tickets and don't buy merchandise. So, I mean, boo if you want but the only thing it might do is make you feel better.
