Shots fired at least 10 injured at Chiefs Super Bowl Parade

The real problem in this country we need to take of is mental health. The staggering percentage of youth that are suffering from depression is the real pandemic of our time, but no one in the national government is taking it seriously. Until they do, expect incidents like this to continue no matter what kind of gun control legislation is passed. Common sense legislation could help (though our government often doesn't do a good job with common sense), but it will not eliminate this. Addressing the causes of the mass increase in depression is the big, and admittedly very difficult step that will stem the tide.
I think social media is making the kids depressed. If you scroll on facebook all day and see everyone posting their highlight reels, you can start to feel like your life sucks. It also seems like Tiktok is hacking their brains and making them believe garbage.

They’ve done studies on this, but there is never any regulatory action taken. Mark Zuckerberg will go to congress and they slap him on the wrist but nothing ever happens.

I feel bad for these kids sometimes. Growing up in a world before cell phones and social media was amazing. I feel like they’ve been robbed of a real childhood.
