Shots fired at least 10 injured at Chiefs Super Bowl Parade

The real problem in this country we need to take of is mental health. The staggering percentage of youth that are suffering from depression is the real pandemic of our time, but no one in the national government is taking it seriously. Until they do, expect incidents like this to continue no matter what kind of gun control legislation is passed. Common sense legislation could help (though our government often doesn't do a good job with common sense), but it will not eliminate this. Addressing the causes of the mass increase in depression is the big, and admittedly very difficult step that will stem the tide.
i agree somewhat, but you don't think other counties have many youths with mental illnesses/depression? the common demoninator is guns. The extememe pro gun people are against ANY legislation that prevents gun ownership. And the normal pro gun people buy into the 'THEY ARE GONNA TAKE ALL OUR GUNS AWAY!!!" lie. Most gun owners don't want mental health to be a reason not to own a gun. just take the woman who recently shot up the church, she has mental health issues a mile long (documented and forced institutionally), among family members trying to get help from law enforcement, but that didn't disqualify her form legally owning a gun.
