Shots fired at least 10 injured at Chiefs Super Bowl Parade

I don't think there isn't just one solution, it needs to be a mix of a few.

You can't remove guns without ALSO tightening gun laws significantly to the point where "bad guys" are significantly de-incentivized from carrying.

Bottom line is we have to do something because "thoughts and prayers" just leads to more deaths.
That's why banning assault or semi assault weapons similar to the 1993 law signed by Clinton would make a huge dent, or go along way to making progress and it wouldn't necessarily fall into the hands, if marketed correctly, that liberal Democrats and progressives are coming to take guns away from law-abiding, gun owners. Closing gun-show loopholes, and tightening background checks and not allowing people with serious mental health issues that to buy or possess firearms. Except for Columbine, how many major mass/school shootings were we having in the 1990's?

FWIW, Who dat, as long as we, or any other country for that matter, has any semblance of a free society, some people will always find ways, however illegal, to find guns or firearms. You can make it extremely difficult and hard like it is in most European countries or in the UK, but you can always go underground or look in dangerous black markets to find it and while some may not succeed, others will. I know thats not a popular sentiment to say here, but its true.
