No player drafted is ever a 100% guarantee. Your always taking some element of risk.

Caleb Williams is a freak athlete, those qualities are just god given gifts that can't be taught. Any concerns about his maturity and growth can be worked on. If he is placed in the right environment with the right coaches its not hard to see a world where he can thrive.

I have zero issues with people evaluating Maye or Daniels ahead of Williams, but if your a team that needs a QB it would be idiotic to pass on him. You roll those dice every single time.

Don't get me started on how the Jets are where QB's get drafted and then ruined. There track record proofs they have zero ability to develop QB's. Its not that surprising to me that Geno Smith has had a reassurance in Seattle. Wilson might not have ever been worthy of his high draft pick but the Jets did him no favors.
