I know this isn't exactly in line with the content of this thread...but this blew my mind over the weekend. I've seen the movie "Real Genius" dozens of times. It's one of those movies that if I'm flipping channels and come across it, I'll immediately stop and toss the remote down.
I never knew that Tom Hanks made an uncredited cameo as an extra in the film. As Mitch is leaving the Dean's Freshman tea (where he receives the great advice "always....uh...never...forget to check your references), he turns to leave, and Tom Hanks is standing behind him talking to someone.
