The Falcons may just be in some trouble regarding Cousins (Merged)

The Falcons should at least forfeit a third round pick. The fact that it's such a huge contract for a starting QB should bump that to a second round pick.

"...there’s reason to believe the team directly communicated with Cousins during the 52-hour negotiating window. That’s clearly prohibited, as the Chiefs learned eight years ago when they lost a third-round pick for speaking directly to receiver Jeremy Maclin during the legal tampering period."

If Jeremy Maclin was worth a third round slap on the wrist, Kirk Cousins is worth a second rounder.
