Saints signed QB Nathan Peterman

I have no idea if your for or against your argument.

He is the 3rd QB or lets say 2nd, either way only one QB starts and gets the majority of snaps for game day, the backup gets snaps in preparation for possibly playing on game day and the third guy runs the scout team to get everybody else on offense prepared (backup O-line and backup skill position groups) I never said anything about a camp arm, but people are upset with the signing like the guy was supposed to be the starter when he was signed for depth and to help push Haener in camp.
I get all that but there are probably a hundred better options than Peterman. It sounds like hyperbole but I think he is literally the worst active QB in the NFL. Dead last. He's a meme.

I don't really have an "argument" other than I just think its hilarious this is our first week FA signing.
Playbook installations at OTAs and minicamp begin soon. It’s good to have an arm who’s versed with the system and can share expertise to the younger QB who’ll be the actual QB2Right now it looks like the Saints feel comfortable with Haener and Hill as playable backup options at their salary rates. We don’t really need to crowd QB with multiple expensive salaries to have big names at backup QB on paper. Especially when they may have the same backup potential as our draft pick last year.

Yep, the "player/coach" model is the only thing that makes sense. He can certainly show them what not to do LOL
