WR Cedrick Wilson Jr. signs with the Saints to a 2-year/5.75M deal (2.85M guaranteed)

5th year player. 2022 just over 100 yards receiving and 2023 just under 300 yards, more of a journeyman than prospect. Maybe Carr can help him and he develops in this system. I hope so. But based on his history idk.

Yep, that's a his bio, doesn't really discuss the WRs who were ahead of him on those rosters, nor that when he did get a chance he shined.

2019 Cowboys: Cooper, Gallup, Cobb, Witten, Pollard, Elliott
2020 Cowboys: Cooper, Lamb, Gallup, Schultz, Pollard, Elliot
2021 Cowboys: Cooper, Lamb, Gallup, Schultz, Pollard, Elliot - Wilson had 602 yards in 2021 which had him 4th on the team in receiving yards and the 3rd highest for a WR (Schultz had over 800 at TE).
2022 Dolphins: Hill, Waddle, Geseki, Sherfield (This was the Tua brain concussion season)
2023 Dolphins: Hill, Waddle, Smythe and then Wilson was 4th on the team in receiving yards.

He was also a 24 y/o rookie so that factored in to him getting drafted lower, but with a nearly 70% catch rate combined with his attributes and willingness to do the dirty work, this is a great signing.
