As a passer coming out of college, no he wasn't and you are lying to yourself if you believe that he was. Fields was raw but he was a much better passer than Lamar Jackson was. Lamar Jackson was much more dynamic but Fields was the better passer. Anybody that watched college football would tell you that.

I went to the UH/Louisville game Lamar’s senior year. He had zero pass protection. So…yeah i watch college football. If Lamar had played at Ohio State with Chris Olave and Garret Wilson with a running game and protection he would have proven himself to be better than Fields.
